This policy covers the Texas Voters mobile app, published by Pappas Productions, LLC.

The short version

We do not collect your personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no trackers.

Your positions and choices

If you record your own positions on issues to compare candidates, those choices are stored only on your device. They are never transmitted to us or anyone else.

Location

If you grant location permission, your location is used on your device to show where you are on the voting center map. Your location is never sent to our servers or shared with anyone. You can use the entire app without granting location access.

What the app downloads

The app retrieves public civic information, such as candidate data and election details, from our servers. These are standard web requests. We do not use them to identify or profile you.

External links

The app links to outside websites, including county election offices, the Texas Secretary of State, and candidate campaign sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Children

The app is a civic information tool and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

This website

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers. It's served by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical request data to deliver and secure the site. The page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which is a standard web request to Google's servers.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
